What is a sorority?
A sorority is a group of women, bound together for the purpose of improving themselves and the community around them.
It enables women to enhance their leadership, communication, social and team-working skills.
What makes us different from other sororities on campus?
Our main focuses are SISTERHOOD and SERVICE!!! Due to our small numbers are overwhelmingly committed to our sisters and
brothers.
Why should I join Omega Tau Pi?
That is a question you will have to answer for yourself. If you feel it is important for you to be involved on this campus,
and at the same time get an abundance of support from a group of women who you have bonded with and can call your sisters,
then this sorority is for you!
What are my obligations?
Your obligations to Omega Tau Pi are a commitment of time, effort, and honesty. There are various events throughout
the year that we ask you to attend and participate in. Promptness, a willingness, and a desire to support those around you
by offering your time and support for you fellow sisters are other obligations you will have.
What are the requirements to join?
Potential new undergrad members must be full-time students in good standing with the university. If you are an upperclasswoman
you must possess a GPA of at least 2.0. You must submit two letters of recommendation, attend aformal informational, unless
the Membership Coordinator grants permission for absence. Upperclassmen must submit a transcript. Freshmen must submit a
high school transcript. Must attend a formal interview.
Can I join another sorority if I am a member of Omega Tau Pi?
Of course you can!!! Omega Tau Pi is a service sorority. We are not affiliated with the National Panhellenic Council.
Our members enjoy membership in several professional and social organizations.
